Hi there! I’m Sarah Hanchar and this is the home of my podcast, “Hi! I Think You’re Nice!” It’s a podcast where nice people talk about nice things.

Here’s a little about me. I’m originally from Bellefonte, Pennsylvania. (The Keystone State!) I went to the College of Santa Fe in New Mexico. (The Land of Enchantment!) I trained and worked at The Second City in Chicago, Illinois. (The Land of Lincoln!) I worked as an actor for Walt Disney World and Universal Studios in Orlando, Florida. (The Sunshine State!) I currently live in Seattle, Washington. (The Evergreen State!)

Episode 12: Spooky Books with Liz!

Liz Brammer reads oodles of books! Like, 40 books-a-year kind of oodles. Liz enjoys reading across many genres, but loves a good spooky story. Why are haunted house stories particularly exciting and scary? Let’s find out!

Also in store for you today are the strong opinions we hold about the TV miniseries of Stephen King’s The Stand and our love of Gary Sinise. I mean, come on. Who didn’t have a crush on him in the early 90’s? Amiright?!

As a special bonus, I read a story by one of MoPop’s Write Out Of This World winning contestants. MoPop’s WOOTW contest is for young writers (grades 3-12) who also love a good spooky/fantasy/sci-fi story. For more information on this really great contest and event, check it out by following this link.

Okay, bye! Have fun!
